Kingston shows 1.8GB/s PCIe x4 SSD at CES 2014

Based on Sandforce SF-3700 controller

During CES 2014, Kingston showed a rather interesting early version of the upcoming PCIe-based Kingston HyperX Predator SSD which will be based on Sandforce SF-3700 controller.

Although still in its prototype state, the Kingston HyperX Predator PCIe x4 SSD is based on LSI's Sandforce SF-3700 series controller and capable of delivering impressive transfer speeds of up to 1.8GB/s. Unfortunately, Kingston did not reveal any more details since we are looking at a prototype and the retail product is only scheduled for late Q2 2014 or the second half of the 2014.

Kingston did note that it will be available in capacities of up to 2TB and be based on either the SF-3739 or the SF-3759 controller.
