Lenovo rolls out 28-inch 4K display

Wants US $799 for it

Ahead of Consumer Electronics Show 2014, kicking off tomorrow, January 7th, Lenovo has unveiled a couple of new products but the new ThinkVision Pro2840m 4K-capable 28-inch monitor certainly surprised many, especially due to its US $799 price tag.

Based on a 28-inch panel with 3840x2160 resolution, the new ThinkVision Pro2840m is one of two 4K-capable monitors that Lenovo is bringing to the show. According to Lenovo, the company wants to deliver 4K-capable display to its customers as soon as it can and with an aggressive price of US $799, it will certainly make competition sweat.

Although we just have bare specifications and single picture, we do know that it features DisplayPort, mini DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, some sort of adjustable stand as well as MHL support.

At US $799, the new ThinkVision Pro2840m will definitely be on a lot of shopping lists when it starts shipping in April.
