VTX3D launches R9 270 X-Edition

Dual-fan cooler and factory-overclock

VTX3D has unveiled its newest R9 270 series graphics card, which will feature custom design with dual fan cooler, the VTX3D R9 270 X-Edition.

The new VTX3D R9 270 X-Edition works at 930MHz for the GPU which is 30MHz higher than reference R9 270 and reached 955MHz with Boost. Equipped with 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface, the new R9 270 X-Edition also uses the "quality power kit", which includes Multi Phase Design, Ferrite Core Choke, PowerPAK SO-8 and Solid Capacitors, enhancing the stability and offering even further overclocking potential.

The dual-slot dual-fan cooler features two 80mm fans, three U-shaped copper heatpipes and a larger heatsink providing much lower temperatures when compared to the standard reference R9 270.

Unfortunately, VTX3D did not reveal any details regarding market availability or the price of the new R9 270 X-Edition.
