Nvidia releases two Tegra Note 7 demo videos

Shows the tablet and stylus in action

Nvidia has released two videos that shows its upcoming Tegra Note 7 tablet in action as well as sheds some more details regarding the stylus with DirectStylus tech that comes with it.

In case you missed it earlier, Nvidia's Tegra Note 7 is based on Tegra 4 SoC and built around a rather mediocre 7-inch 1280x800 panel. Although the US $199 price tag sounds quite appealing, Google's Nexus 7 is a mere US $30 more expensive but comes with a much better 7-inch 1920x1200 panel.

As it is obvious by looking at those two videos, Nvidia will try to focus on the DirectStylus technology stylus as the main seling point of the new Tegra Note 7 tablet, as well as its camera. According to Nvidia, the Tegra Note 7 will offer a 50 percent faster browsing experience than tablets at twice the price, which is not a big surprise considering the combination of a decent SoC and low-resolution screen.

The stylus itself brings quite a few new features as, in addition to simple note taking, it can also be used with Sketchbook or Photoshop Touch as well as do think or thick lines so it will certainly appeal to a certain part of the market. The camera is also quite good as it has tap-to-track automatic tracking, focus and exposure settings.

Despite looking as an impressive device, Nvidia is a bit late to the game with Tegra Note 7 as the US $199 tablet market is quite crowded so we are not sure that Nvidia will see massive sale numbers from Tegra Note 7.
