ASRock has announced the winner list of its FM2 A10 OC Competition held with HWBOT and sponsored by some big names like AMD, Powercolor, ADATA and Thermaltake where CherV, an overclocker from Hong Kong, managed to break a couple of world records on the ASRock FM2A88X Extreme6+ motherboard and AMD A10-6800K APU.
CherV managed to get the AMD's A10-6800K all the way up to 8520.22MHz and score P3177 in 3DMark 11. This gave her US $5,000 in prizes, US $2000 bonus prize and an extra US $2000 for breaking two records (who says that overclocking does not pay). The entire overclocking was made on ASRock's A88X Extreme6+ FM2 and also brought some bragging right to ASRock since top 10 Radeon HD 8670D 3DMark 11 performance results were done on ASRock FM2 motherboards.
In any case, it is definitely a nice overclocking results and certainly sounds like a great motherboard to have in case you are going for AMD's A10-6800K APU.
