Although it is scheduled to officially launch on October 25th we have already had a chance to see leaked results of the Radeon R9 290X graphics in almost every scenario, including its Quiet and Uber modes, CrossfireX and even in overclock conditions and now we finally have a chance to see some performance numbers in Eyefinity, where a single graphics card is forced to render 5760x1080 resolution.
As expected, even the R9 290X is not beefy enough to cope with Metro Last Light or Crysis 3 in Eyefinity and with high graphics quality settings but according to leaked results, it is quite enough to cope with Dirt: Showdown, Bioshock Infinite, upcoming Battlefield 4 and probably even some other titles.
Of course, such power comes at a price and that one is quite evident in the leaked power consumption results that go as high as 392W for the entire system in load and up to 91W in idle, which is pretty much higher than anything we saw so far, even higher than the GTX Titan.
Of course, we will see some more reviews on October 25th as we are definitely interested in more benchmarks.
