During Intel Developer Forum 2013, Kingston decided to show off a demo that was running on no less than twelve DDR4 modules for a total of incredible 192GB of system memory.
Each of the twelve 16GB modules were running at 2133MHz and was drawing 1.2V, which is quite low considering 1.5V standard on the DDR3 ones. Unfortunately, Kingston was not ready to show any performance numbers as the DDR4 is schedule to hit the market later in the 2013.
In any case, it sounds like DDR4 will certainly bring some improvements as if it can achieve 2133MHz at 1.2V we are quite sure that we will see even higher frequencies with just a tad bit more voltage.
