Asus has announced the new VivoPC, a mini PC packed in a 19x19x5.2cm chassis that will be available in two versions, the VivoPC VM40B and the VivoPC VC60.

Featuring silver chassis and lower specifications, the VivoPC VM40B feature Intel's Celeron 1007U clocked at 1.5GHZ as well as 2GB of RAM while the VC60 feature a black chassis and either a 2.4GHz clocked Core i3-3110M or 3.1GHZ clocked Core i5-3210M CPU with 4GB of memory.

Both version share the pretty much the same specs so you are looking at 500GB of HDD space, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11bgnac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, card reader, as well as a couple of USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. The PSU is naturally external and packs 65W of power.

The cheaper, but much better looking, VivoPC VM40B will have a recommended price tag of €229 while the VivoPC VC60 starts at €349.
