Sony announces new HMZ-T3 viewer headset

Quite expensive

Today Sony unveiled their new visor headset which is the successor of the T2, the HMZ-T3.

With two 720p oled screens, which are compatible with both 2D and 3D technology, the third generation of HMZ will offer excellent image quality and perfect surround sound.

The battery life is rated at around 3 hours with wireless 60GHz transmissions, or 7 hours with HDMI cable.

T3 is compatible with PC, PS3 and mobile devices, while the PS4 is exclude due to a possibility that Sony might have their own VR headset like Oculus Rift in the near future.

The only drawback is the price set at £1300, which is pretty much in line with the price of a very good 42" HDTV.
