Samsung shows off F9080 UHD TV

The 3840x2160 UHD on 65- and 55-inch models

In addition to the official launch of the Samung KE55S9C curved OLED model all across Europe, Samsung also announce the new F9080 UHD TV series that brings four times the full HD experience thanks to its 3840x2160 resolution and will be available in 65- and 55-inch sizes (138 and 166cm).

Thanks to upscaling function implemented due to the lack of UHD content, users can also enjoy upscaled full HD content that allow new level of detail. It can also convert 2D to 3D and 3D in full HD 3D UHD in order to be compatible with most, if not all, currently available content.

It also comes with a dual TV tuner that can receive two separate contents via satellite, cable or Freeview or even enjoy one content on TV screen while second can be transfered to a network-compatible Galaxy Tab or smartphone. It comes with a bunch of latest Smart TV functions and has four HDMI inputs.

The new Samsung F9080 series models will be available with a price of €3,999 for 55-inch and €5,999 for the 65-inch model while it is also available in Switzerland with a price of CHF 4'699 (55-inch, EIA) and CHF 6'999 (65-inch, EIA).
