Be Quiet! releases new Power Zone series PSUs

650, 750, 850 and 1000W models

Be Quiet! has announced a release of its brand new "Power Zone" series of power supply units aimed at high-performance, gaming, multimedia and multi-GPU systems. Featuring a solid 12V rail design makes it ideal solution for multi-GPU configurations, overclocking or just steady high-power drain and with active clamp + DC/DC topology, the new Power Zone series achieves high efficiency of up to 90% and has 80PLUS Bronze certification.

In order to keep the noise at minimum, Be Quiet! paired the new Power Zone series with its SilentWings 135mm fan with six pole electric fan motor that reduces vibration as well as individual fan speed characteristics for each model. The Power Zone PSUs also feature the COOL*OFF feature that forces the fan to spin for another three minutes once the system is shut down.

The new PowerZone will be offered in 650, 750, 850 and 1000W models and will feature up to six PCI-Express connectors, making it suitable for high-end multi-GPU configurations.

The 850 and 1000W PowerZone models will be available as of today with a price tag of €149/$159 and €169/$189 while two lower wattage models, the 650W and 750W should be available by the middle of next month with a suggested retail price of €105/$115 and €125/$135.
