AMD Radeon HD 7000 series price-cut start in Europe

HD 7850 as low as €129

There has already been some talk regarding the price-cuts for AMD Radeon HD 7000 series and it appears that it has finally reached Europe as well, at least in some regions. As you know, Volcanic series will launch in a matter of months so it is no wonder that AMD and its AIB partners want to clear the HD 7000 series stock in order to start fresh with the new Volcanic Series GPUs.

According to a post at Fudzilla.com, the HD 7850 is currenly selling for as low as €129 in Europe which is a decent drop from €140-150 price it a few weeks ago. The HD 7870 GHz Edition also got a price cut down to €149-159 depending on the region. The HD 7950 Boost Edition is currently selling for €209-219 depending on the region while HD 7970 is selling for €289-299. The HD 7970 GHz Edition has dropped down from €350 in Germany down to around €320.

The dual-GPU HD 7990 also got a price cut earlier and is selling below €600 in most regions. The price cut has been also extended to mid-range cards as well and it looks like parnters are cutting 10 to 15 percent on most if not all graphics cards.

Of course, as soon as Volcanic series launches, AMD and its partners will try to get rid of the HD 7000 series so we might see even higher price drops.
