Nvidia working on mini gaming PCs

Consoles, brace yourselves!

These days NVIDIA is working on a mini PC, where a GeForce GTX 7xx should take care of displaying plethoras of pixel quick enough. With this project NVIDIA wants to achieve quite something, since they plan to attack the console market.

After producing a handheld gaming console for the mobile market, Nvidia even wants to conquer the market of home consoles. How? With a gaming PC, that offers more performance than the standard consoles you can get from Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.

The only issue might be the price, which - most likely - can't be compared at other consoles: with a base price of 789 Euro, you will get an i5-4430, a GTX 650 and 4 GB of DDR3 RAM. The flagship model would be equipped with a i5-4670K, a GTX 760 and 8 GB of DDR3 RAM.

Over at Eurogamer there is an interesting article on this topic. Unfortunately it's only available in Italian, which mean you'd have to feed the URL to Google translator if you don't understand Italian. Nevertheless we think it's a very interesting read.
