Geforce GTX 760 will be the last 700 series GPU

Until fall 2013

According to a leaked slide that appears to be taken from the official press deck for tomorrow launch of the GTX 760 graphics card, it appears that this will be the last graphics card in the 700 series and this year.

The leaked slide shows that the Geforce GTX Titan will still remain the flagship offer and that it has no plans to launch anything before fall 2013 and most likely it will not launch anything in the Geforce 700 series. The slide also reveals that the GTX 780 and the GTX 770 will replace the GTX 680 and the GTX 770. Bear in mind that GTX 780 is currently the only graphics card that actually has no valid competition from AMD side, at least not in that price range.

As far as the GTX 760 is concerned, this one will replace the Geforce GTX 660 Ti. Interestingly enough, the GTX 660, 650 Ti Boost, 650 Ti and the Geforce GTX 650 are here to stay, at least until fall 2013 period. Of course, Nvidia is obviously waiting for AMD to pull its next move.
