During Computex, Seasonic decided to show off its upcoming 1.2kW SS-1200XP3 power supply that, although similar to the the 1000W version, should offer some impressive features and top-notch components.

According to available details, the SS-1200XP3 should feature the same Sanyo Denki San Ace 9S fan seen across Seasonic's premium product line and will feature semi-fanless operation mode where fan kicks in only when the load exceeds 30-percent of its maximum output. As expected, it will feature 105° C rated Japanese capacitors, modular and a single-rail design.

According to details, it will feature 80 PLUS Platinum rating with up to 92-percent efficiency at 50 percent load and will definitely be the top PSU offer on the market when Seasonic officially launch it.
