G.Skill announces TridentZ RGB and Royal DDR4-4266 memory

With 64GB capacity

Do you like fancy RGB memory with high capacity modules? If the answer is yes, you will be happy to know that there are new RGB LED memory kits from G.Skill. The company has announced yet another memory kit for modders, gamers and overclockers. The TridentZ DDR4-4266MHz are now available with 64GB (8x8GB) capacity and they’re aimed at high-end platforms.

The kit includes eight 8GB RGB 4266MHz DIMMs with high-quality Samsung B-die chips. The first TridentZ RGB kits have been launched more than one year ago and the largest capacity available was 2x8GB at DDR4-4266. Meanwhile there are these 64GB quad-channel kits as well and they are all compatible with XMP 2.0.

The memory kits clock in at 4266MHz with CL18-22-22-42 timings. G.Skill didn't release all the specification of these upcoming kits. According to the SPD tab from CPU-Z, the voltage is set to 1.4V. G.Skill validated the Trident Z Royal DDR4-4266 64GB kit on an ASUS Prime-X299 Deluxe II motherboard with Intel Core i9-9820X deca-core processor.

So far G.Skill has not revealed details on pricing and availability regarding their memory.
