NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 announced

Sooner than expected

Currently the GeForce RTX lineup consists of three high-end models. Meanwhile the fourth model has been announced and it will belong to the mid-range series. The GeForce RTX 2060 is priced at 349 USD and it will be available rather soon.

Specification wise, the upcoming NVIDIA graphics card feature 1'920 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR6 memory. Furthermore there are 30 RT (Raytracing) cores as well as 240 Tensor (AI). According to NVIDIA, these cores are active but more limited. The company is making use of a reconfigured GeForce RTX 2070 chip. The card comes with a boost clock of 1680MHz on the Founders Edition but we might see different clocks on the custom solutions.

The cooler is rather simple and it comes with a dual-slot design. On the I/O part we find one HDMI port paired with two DisplayPort outputs and a DVI connector. NVIDIA is going to bundle the card with Anthem or Battlefield V. According to latest information, the card will be available starting the 15th but at the moment there aren't information about the custom models.
