EKWB unveils Velocity D-RGB CPU coolers

Two more versions

EKWB has released the Velocity CPU waterblock recently, which has been introduced in over 14 different combinations of top material (acetal, acrylic, nickel-plated brass), base plate (copper, nickel-plated copper), and with/without RGB LEDs. If 24 RGB LEDs displaying the same color are not enough for you, EKWB adds two more versions with addressable RGB LEDs.

Compared to the previous generation of waterblocks, the Velocity series water blocks offer several significant improvements. For example EKWB has improved the cooling performance, added RGB lighting and changed both the interior and exterior design. Inside the EK-Velocity there is an updated version of the award-winning EK Cooling Engine channel design. High performance CPU water blocks have to offer the right balance between surface area and flow rate restrictions.

The previous generation of water blocks offered a low-restriction flow rate that supported reverse-flow configurations. According to EKWB, the design has been simplified and we can expect lower flow restriction which adds to better maintainability. While there are already 14 versions of the Velocity waterblock, EKWB adds two more models with addressable RGB LEDs for both Intel and AMD worlds. As with the other RGB versions, these are compatible with ASUS Aura, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte/AORUS RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync and other digital RGB controllers.

The EK-Velocity D-RGB cooler are going to be available rather soon with a price of €99.90 Euro.
