ASUS unveils ROG Strix XG32VQR monitor

32 inch and 144Hz refresh rate

ASUS has updated their gaming monitor lineup with a new curved display which goes by the name ROG Strix XG32VQR. This monitor sports a 32-inch panel with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. Apart from that it comes with Aura RGB lighting.

As we already mentioned the ROG Strix XG32VQR monitor is equipped with a 32-inch panel and 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. On the connector side there are two HDMI 2.0 connectors, one DisplayPort 1.2 and two USB 3.0 ports. The display is based on an VA panel with 3000:1 contrast ratio and 450 cd/m2 brightness. Furthermore, this display is compatible with DisplayHDR 400 certification.

ASUS is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and it supports AMD FreeSync 2 HDR. The refresh rate is set to 144 Hz and the grey-to-grey response time is 4ms. On top of the specs there is a very well-built thin frame and stand, which allow for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. The ROG Strix XG32VQR sports ASUS’ Aura RGB behind the screen as well as underneath the monitor stand. You can choose from several different modes and all the colors you like.

When it comes to prices and availability this monitor is supposed to become available soon at a price of $450-500 USD.
