Intel Core i7-9700K tested again

This time by ElChapuzasInformatico

Another set of benchmarks on Intel's Coffee Lake CPUs has surfaced. This time it looks like the eight-core Intel Core i7-9700K, which is supposed to make it to market later this year, has been put through its paces using Cinebench R15.

These new results have been gathered using several benchmarks but the most interesting is Cinebench R15. At stock clocks the Intel Core i7-9700K is 4% faster than the current Core i7-8700K. These new tests confirm previous rumors, showing that the Intel Core i7-9700K is on par with the still current flagship. Although the Core i7-9700K comes with two more cores, HyperThreading on the six core i7-8700K does a good job.

The screenshots also contain other scores as well. The CPU has been tested in Battlefield 1 and Rise of Tomb Raider and in this case the new chip isn’t any faster than a Core i7-6700K. This isn't a big surprise since most of the games can't use more than four core. ... nchmarks-03_642_734ce.jpg">
