NVIDIA is working hard on "Content-Aware Fill" like Adobe did with Photoshop lately. The company has introduced a new technique that uses AI to realistically fill photos. Below you can find a short video that might blow your mind.
What is amazing about NVIDIA's system is that the tool doesn't just take information from surrounding pixels but also understands how the image should be filled. For example if we remove a part from a face, NVIDIA AI will guess what is missing on the blank space. If you try something similar with Content-Aware Fill from Photoshop, you will get a mess for sure. The result will not be perfect but still is a significant improvement.
The feature can be used to both fill in holes in photos and remove existing things in a photo (just like Content-Aware Fill). No matter what you think about NVIDIA and its GeForce Partner Program (GPP), this AI powered inpainting is damn insane to see in action.
