A few weeks ago, EVGA has introduced to the market the SuperNova G1+ series of power supplies and now the company is ready to unveils an improved version of this series. With the PQ series, EVGA unveils three models with 750W, 850W and 1000W of output power. Apart from that there is going to be a semi-modular cable management.
The EVGA PQ series lineup features semi-modular cable management and multi +12V rail design with DC-to-DC switching, active PFC, all the usual protections as well as an 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency rating. The lineup will be cooled by a new 135mm bottom placed fan, which runs passive below certain load levels.
As mentioned before, these new PSUs will come with 750W, 850W and 1000W of output power. They will be equipped with up to ten 6+2-pin PCIe power connectors, twelve SATA power connectors, three molex connectors and the standard 24-pin connector. Furthermore there are two 8-pin EPS power cable.
So far EVGA has not revealed details on pricing and availability, but they should be covered by 10 year warranty.
