This time EVGA isn't the last one amongst the larger motherboard vendors to announce their Z370 motherboards. Like in the past, when a new chipset was launched, EVGA prepared three new models. This time they've come up with the Z370 Classified K, the Z370 FTW K and the Z370 Micro and therefore there are two ATX and one mATX model. We’d expect to see a mini-ITX model at a later stage as well.

All of EVGA’s new Z370 motherboards look quite different compared to the previous generation. Apparently all the boards come with an armada of features, such as up to three M.2 slots for example. Apart from that they all feature a black PCB with silver and black heat sinks.

As always the Z370 Classified K is the flagship model. On the PCB there are three PCIe Gen 3.0 slots with steel reinforcements and three PCI x1 slots. On the storage side we see three M.2 slots and six SATA ports. Furthermore we also see all the bells and whistles you'd ask for in the event of overclocking. Last but not least there is a dedicated Creative Sound Core3D 5.1 Channel HD audio chip. In addition it comes with two Killer Gigabit NICs.

The Z370 FTW K shares a lot of the flagship model's DNA. Compared to the Classified K we find less I/O ports, a “standard” Realtek ALC1220 audio chip and one Intel i219V Gigabit Ethernet port. Overall the design is very similar, once again we find three M.2 slots, six SATA ports and several 4-pin PWM connectors.

Last but not least there is the Z370 Micro. This model comes with a micro-ATX form factor and it looks a bit cheaper than the other two models. For example we find less plastic covers and smaller heat sinks. Furthermore this motherboard only features two DIMM slots. However there are still two PCIe Gen 3.0 slots with steel reinforcements, six SATA ports and two M.2 slots.

So far EVGA has not revealed details on pricing and availability regarding their Z370 motherboards, but we’re sure these boards are soon going to appear on the different price comparison portals around the globe.
