Sapphire RX series mining GPUs available in UK store

Five models

Following the ASUS launch, also Sapphire has unveiled new graphics card devoted to mining. Unlike ASUS, Sapphire isn’t showing the cards on their homepage yet but they’re up for preorder on Overclockers UK. With this new series of graphics cards Sapphire offers four RX 470 and one RX 560 specifically for mining.

The Sapphire Radeon RX 470 Mining Edition comes in four flavors. The main difference between the two cards is that one pair features quicker memory from Samsung and the other come with reference chips. Apart from that both “series” included a model with 4GB of VRAM and another with 8GB. All the RX 470 Mining Edition cards come with a maximum boost clock of 1236MHz which is 30MHz more than the reference design. None of these cards feature any display outputs. Furthermore Sapphire adds a Radeon RX 560 Mining Edition card that packs a single DVI-D connector.

OCUK is listings all the above models and they are already available. According to the shop, the cheapest RX 470 Mining Edition card costs £248.99 while the RX 560 Mining Edition costs £169.99. For the faster RX 470 Mining Edition based on Samsung memory you have to pay £299.99. According to other rumors, all the cards should be available all over Europe as well rather sooner than later.
