Jonsbo has unveiled two new cases, which have been made from aluminum, steel and tempered glass. The first model goes by the name QT03A and is based on the already popular QT01 "Antiphon" while the second model, the VR2, is the bigger brother of the VR1.
The QT03A is an elegant mid-tower case measuring 497 x 216 x 475mm and it’s compatible with ATX motherboards. This model is mainly made from steel with tempered glass side panels and an aluminum front plate. Having a look at the different cooling options we find space for one 360mm radiator on front and one 140mm radiator on the rear part and for large CPU air coolers there is up to 172mm of clearance. Since it's a mid-tower case compatible with ATX motherboard you can install up to three 2.5-inch SSDs and two 3.5-inch HDDs.
Like the VR1, the VR2 uses steel chassis but apart from that it also comes with parts made from aluminum and again tempered glass side panels features. What’s yet special about this case is the internal layout. The mATX motherboard is installed vertically and rotated by 90 degrees with the I/O ports facing to the top. The case measures 399 x 238 x 378mm with a total weight of 9kg. Due to its vertically oriented design, it only supports a single 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch drives. Inside this model you can install a 240/280mm radiator at the bottom and CPU air coolers can measure up to 190 millimeters.
If you are thinking about buying one of these cases you'll be happy to know that both models are already available in stores. The price of the Jonsbo QT03A is set at 119.99 Euro while the VR2 costs 124.99 Euro. Those cases are not cheap, but since they do look great and they appear to be well-made, they appear to be worth the money.
