Crucial's Ballistix is now a separate brand

More products coming

According to a new report, it appears that Crucial's Ballistix will now be its own brand and no longer be a part of Crucial.

According to the report from Techpowerup.com, Crucial's Ballistix will now be a brand of its own and include PC gaming hardware, including memory and some other products, like SSDs and gaming peripherals in future.

Targeting DIY gaming PC builders and enthusiasts, the Ballistix has always been a premium brand of Crucial and was usually one of the best memory kits on the market, aimed at gamers, enthusiasts and overclockers.

Crucial did not give out a lot of details but we are surely looking forward to see what will the new Ballistix brand bring and what kind of products we will see now that it is no longer under the Crucial reign.
