Thermalright shows True Spirit 140 Direct CPU cooler

With five 6mm copper heatpipes

Thermalright has announced the new version of its well known True Spirit 140 tower-type CPU cooler, the True Spirit 140 Direct, which uses five copper heatpipes that are in direct contact with the CPU.

Capable of cooling CPUs with up to 200W TDP, the Thermalright True Spirit 140 Direct measures 152x77x161 and weighs 760g. While it is slightly taller, this also adds support for 140mm fans.

The True Spirit 140 Direct features five 6mm nickel-plated copper heatpipes which are in direct contact with the CPU and connected to the aluminum heatsink. The supplied 140mm fan uses 4-pin PWM connector, spins between 300 and 1300 RPM and pushes 125 m³/h of air while producing between 15 and 21dBA of noise.

The Thermalright True Spirit 140 Direct supports most current sockets including Intel LGA2011v3, LGA115x, LGA775 and AMD AM3+ and FM2+ sockets, and should be already available with a price set at €37.99.
