Mafia 3 gets official system requirements

GTX 660/HD 7870 as a minimum

Hangar 13, a developer behind the upcoming Mafia 3 game has now officially announced both the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game and it appears that it will need some serious hardware in case you want some eye-candy in the game.

Developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games, Mafia 3 game will be set in re-imagine New Orleans, following the story of the main character, Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran that gets involved in mafia business, and feature cars from 1968.

According to details posted at Steam, you will need at least Intel's Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8120 CPU, 6GB of RAM and either an Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 with 2GB of VRAM. In order to get a bit more eye-candy, the recommended hardware requirements include Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350 CPU, 8GB of RAM, Nvidia GTX 780, GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon R9 290X with 4GB of VRAM.

Both minimum and recommended requirements also include 50GB of HDD space and at least Windows 7 64-bit OS.

In case you missed it earlier, Mafia 3 will be coming on October 7th and it will be released on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
