Aqua Computer unveils kryographics RX 480 block

Full-cover block for Radeon RX 480

Aqua Computer has unveiled its kryographics RX 480 water block, a full-cover water block meant to be used with reference Radeon RX 480 graphics cards.

The kryographics RX 480 is completely CNC manufactured, 10 mm thick and made from electrolytic copper. Due to precise manufacturing, it is possible to use thermal grease for both the GPU and the memory while VRM part is also in contact with the block via included thermal pad. The block has two micro channels, one for GPU and the side one for the VRM.

The Aqua Computer kryographics RX 480 block also comes with nickel plated spacer which should make the installation easy and comes with a Delrin-based terminal which can be replaced wiht kryoconnect adapter kits in case you want to use more than one block.

The copper-based kryographics RX 480 block should be available as of next week while nickel-plated versions will be available a week later. Both versions are currently listed at Aqua Computer webshop with a price set at €99.90 for the copper version and €114.90 for the nickel-plated version.
