Zotac has unveiled two interesting and custom Geforce GTX 1060 graphics cards, a factory-overclock AMP! and the smaller GTX 1060 Mini.
Featuring a single fan cooler which is as long as the PCB, the GTX 1060 Mini from Zotac will be available in two versions, one with 6GB of memory and other with 3GB of memory. Due to a smaller cooler, both will be sticking to reference GPU clocks of 1506MHz for the GPU base and 1708MHz for the GPU Boost clock and use a custom PCB with single 6-pin PCIe power connector.
Unlike the mini-ITX GTX 1060 Mini, the Zotac GTX 1060 AMP! will have a larger dual-fan cooler with two 90mm IceStorm fans and the "fan stop" technology, which does not spin up the fans when the card is running in idle mode. The cooler uses a hefty heatsink with two copper heatpipes and it is slight larger than the PCB. It also needs a single 6-pin PCIe power connector and has DVI, HDMI and three DisplayPort outputs.
Zotac did not went for a extremely high factory-overclock so the GTX 1060 AMP! will be working at 1557MHz for the GPU base and 1771MHz for the GPU Boost clocks, which is 51MHz and 63MHz higher compared to the reference version. It also comes with 6GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 8GHz.
Unfortunately, Zotac did not reveal any details regarding the price, but we expect full details when the GTX 1060 becomes available on July 19th.
