Gigabyte's has announced that it has started to ship its 1200W high-end Xtreme Gaming series power supply, the XP1200M.
Showcased during Computex 2016 show in June, the XP1200M PSU is one of the first high-end PSU units in Gigabyte's Xtreme Gaming lineup and features 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating, single +12V rail design with DC-to-DC switching, all Japanese capacitors as well as fully-modular design.
Meant for multi-GPU systems, the Gigabyte XP1200M PSU packs plenty of punch and feature a total of six 6+2-pin PCIe power connectors. It also comes with twelve SATA, eight Molex and two Molex floppy power connectors, in addition to two 8-pin EPS and standard 24-pin ATX power connectors.
The unit uses Gigabyte's new Xtreme Gaming orange on black color scheme and features bottom placed 140mm fan which spins at lower RPM when load is under 720W.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not reveal any details regarding the price or the precise availability date for the new Xtreme Gaming XP1200M PSU, but hopefully, we will see it on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
