We stopped by MSI at Computex 2016 show to take another look at the already announced MSI X99A XPower Gaming Titanium and we must say that it looks even more impressive up close.
The new MSI X99A XPower Gaming Titanium, as the name suggests, is based on Intel's X99 Express chipset which should make it quite popular now that Intel's Broadwell-E CPUs are launched and MSI made sure that there are plenty of high-end features as well as certain updates to the connectivity.
In addition to the all white look with proper metallic shrouds on heatsinks, as you can see from those pictures below, the MSI X99A XPower Gaming Titanium comes with reinforced MSI Steel Armor on all five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots as well as those eight DDR4 memory slots and the Turbo M.2 port.
The motherboard also comes with plenty of overclocking-friendly features like the DDR4 Boost, on-board buttons, MSI Turbo CPU socket with 2036 pins, Ti Chokes, Dual BIOS and more. The X99A XPower Gaming Titanium also comes with the Titanium armored backplate which should provide additional protection for even the heaviest graphics cards and CPU coolers.
When it comes to connectivity, MSI included eight SATA 6Gbps, one SATA Express port, one 32Gbps M.2 and one 32Gbps U.2 port for storage, as well as USB 3.1 Type-A and USB 3.1 Type-C ports and integrated Intel Gigabit Ethernet and Intel WiFi.
As you can see from pictures below, it also comes with Audio Boost 3 and looks impressive with MSI's new Armor Edition graphics card, which matches the color scheme perfectly.
Unfortunately, we still do not know when it will be available or the precise price but hopefully we will get it in our test lab soon.
