According to the latest set of rumors, Nvidia might release Pascal GPU-based GTX Titan graphics card to the market as early as April.
Based on the new Nvidia GP100 GPU, built on 16nm manufacturing process at TSMC, the new Titan graphics cards could feature up to 32GB of High Bandwidth Memory.
According to Techfrag, the GP104 GPU, which should be the part of Nvidia's new Geforce 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards, if Nvidia continue to use its current naming scheme, should come in June and use GDDR5X memory, rather than HBM.
The GP104-based GTX 1080 could end up with a performance similar to the GTX 980 Ti or Titan X but have a much lower TDP due to a more advanced and smaller manufacturing process.
Nvidia could also be aiming for April in order to have a new generation of graphics cards ready when Oculus and HTC release their virtual reality (VR) headsets. AMD on the other hand, according to latest rumors, should have its next-generation graphics cards ready in mid-2016.
