AMD R9 Fury price cut coming soon

Due to earlier R9 Nano price cut

It appears that AMD will soon give a decent price cut to its Radeon R9 Fury due to its position on the market.

Although there is no official confirmation from AMD, a newest report coming from Overclock3D.net suggest that AMD might soon introduce a price cut for the Radeon R9 Fury, due to its current position on the market.

Earlier this month, AMD has cut the price of the Radeon R9 Nano, pushing it down from US $649 to US $499, making it the cheapest graphics card with High Bandwidth Memory and pretty much the best mini-ITX graphics card on the market.

Unfortunately, the US $499 price cut put the R9 Nano at the same price as the R9 Fury (non-X), making it a rather tough buy so it does not come as a surprise that AMD is looking to give the R9 Fury a price cut as well, in order to somewhat improve its position on the market, compared to the R9 Nano and the Geforce GTX 980.

Unfortunately, we do not have a precise price for the R9 Fury, but we would not be surprise to see it go below US $499, maybe even down to US $449, making it a rather interesting option. While you might find some R9 Fury custom graphics cards for as low as US $529 in the US, the cheapest one that we could find in Europe is priced at around €540, while the cheapest R9 Nano is listed at €495.
