Gigabyte adds RGB LEDs to future hardware

Both graphics cards and motherboards

Now that CES 2016 show is over, it appears that a big part of it, when it comes to new products, was adding RGB LEDs to any and every PC component, and Gigabyte brought quite a few of those, including RGB LED-equipped Windforce cooler as well as few motherboards with the same LED lighting.

Posted by a Reddit user and probably a Gigabyte representative, the provided pictures show Gigabyte's upcoming Xtreme Gaming graphics card lineup with some sort of new Windforce 3X cooler which has RGB LEDs.

According to what we know, the new Xtreme Gaming graphics card lineup is expected to replace Gigabyte's G1.Gaming graphics card lineup as the flagship products and use a new cooler with six copper heatpipes, hree low noise fans, custom design PCB with better VRM and more. The series will have three RGB LED rings placed around the fans as well as a RGB LED Windforce logo. The lineup will include Geforce GTX 970, GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti graphics cards, at least for now.

In addition to the new Xtreme Gaming graphics card lineup, Gigabyte will also include RGB LEDs on some of its new motherboards, including the Z170X-Gaming 7, Z170X-Gaming GT, and the flagship Z170X-Gaming G1 motherboard.

It appears that it will be quite easy to get your favorite color scheme as you will be able to change the color of LEDs quite easy on some future hardware.
