At the CES 2016 show in Las Vegas, Thermaltake has unveiled the world's first power supply unit that has RGB LED lighting, the Toughpower DPS G RGB line of PSUs.
While it only showed its 1250W version at CES 2016, the new Toughpower DPS G RGB line of power supply units from Thermaltake are a high-end product with 80 Plus Titanium efficiency, single +12V rail design and are backed by a 10-year warranty.
The RGB lighting is achieved from LEDs placed on a 140mm fan which can be controlled via dedicated software. Thermaltake also implemented the new Smart Power Management Platform, which can monitor and record power consumption, voltage distribution, calculate electricity cost and monitor the temperature of the PSU. It can be controlled via desktop or mobile app or even the Thermaltake's cloud service.
According to Thermaltake, the new Toughpower DPS G RGB will be available by the end of January with a price of US $379.99 for the 1250W model. Hopefully, we will see some other models when the line officially launches.
