Rise of the Tomb Raider to be bundled by Nvidia

Not with AMD Radeon

While it was generally expected that AMD might snatch the upcoming Rise of Tomb Raider game to be a part of its bundle, it appears that Nvidia managed to secure the deal as the game will be bundled with Nvidia's Geforcce graphics cards and notebooks powered by Nvidia Geforce GPUs.

According to the leaked banner, Nvidia's Rise of the Tomb Rider bundle will start on 7th of January and the game will be bundled with Nvidia's high-end desktop graphics cards, like Geforce GTX 970, GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti as well as notebooks powered by Nvidia Geforce GTX 970M, GTX 980M and GTX 980 for notebooks graphics cards.

This comes as a big surprise considering that AMD has previously announced that the upcoming Rise of Tomb Raider will have support for TressFX 3.0 technology and it is still not clear if the game will also support Nvidia's GameWorks technology.

Rise of the Tomb Raider did not do as well as as it predecessor as the game sold only 63,000 units during its exclusive Xbox One console launch. The game got pretty decent review scores with 4.5/5 score at Metacritic.
