MSI has unveiled two new special edition Carbon Edition motherboards which will be based on Intel's X99 and Z170 Express chipset as well as feature carbon-fiber color scheme and Mystic Light RGB LED feature, the MSI X99A Godlike Gaming Carbon Edition and the MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon Edition.

Both new motherboards will have the same black color scheme with carbon-fiber accents as well as MSI's new Mystic Light RGB LEDs that will light up the motherboard and can be controlled via MSIs own Gaming app.

Unfortunately, MSI did not unveil a lot of details regarding these two new motherboards but it dd say that the X99A Godlike Gaming Carbon Edition will feature Audio Boost 3 Pro, Killer DoubleShot-X3 Pro , Turbo M.2, USB 3.1 Type-A and Type-C ports and should be the best X99 motherboard that MSI has to offer. It also comes with extra pin on the CPU socket (2036), also known as MSI Turbo Socket, which should provide additional overclocking possibilities and potential.

The MSI Z170A Gaming Pro will also have Audio Boost 3 audio, Turbo M.2 port, Intel-based Gaming LAN and plenty of other high-end, gaming and overclocking-friendly features.

We certainly hope that MSI will unveil more details as well as the price and availability date for both of these new motherboards.
