It appears that CD Projekt Red is now completely focused on the new Cyberpunk 2077 game, as according to the latest report, the developer aims to release it in late 2016.
According to a report from Gamereactor.de, The Witcher 3 developer, CD Projekt Red, is now completely focused on the new Cyberpunk 2077 game which was first teased back in 2012.
Since CD Projekt Red did not officially comment or confirm it, the late 2016 date sounds a bit too optimistic, especially since CD Projekt Red has previously stated that Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2017 game and that it should be significantly bigger than The Witcher 3. Also, CD Projekt Red is still working on The Witcher 3 expansions, and the second one, Blood and Wine, is scheduled to be released in Q1 2016.
The game is currently in development for the PC but Playstation 4 and Xbox One version of the game are more than likely.
Hopefully, we will hear a bit more about this sci-fi RPG in near future.
