K|NGP|N pushes EVGA GTX 980 Ti to 2200MHz

Vince "K|NGP|N" Lucido strikes again

Vince "K|NGP|N" Lucido had a new overclocking session where he managed to push the EVGA Geforce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N Edition to incredible 2200MHz for the GPU, which was enough to break three 3DMark World Records.

The same EVGA GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N Edition already broke quite a few overclocking world records before but now Vince "K|NGP|N" Lucido managed to push the GPU to over 2200MHz on LN2. In addition to the EVGA Geforce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N Edition, Vince was using an Intel Core i7-5960X CPU overclocked to 5767MHz on EVGA's X99 motherboard and 16GB of DDR4 memory.

These overclocking results were enough for Vince to break world records with a single card in 3DMark Fire Strike, Fire Strike Extreme and Fire Strike Ultra benchmarks.

According to Vince and EVGA, this only shows that the EVGA Geforce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N Edition is designed for extreme overclocking and is the best GTX 980 Ti graphics card on the market.
