Microsoft's Windows 10 OS is certainly popular but is now becoming the OS with fastest adoption rate as over 30 percent of Steam users are now running on Windows 10 OS.
According to Valve's latest Steam September Hardware survey, the Windows 10 OS is now the second most popular Windows OS on Steam. Over 30 percent of all Steam users are now running on Windows 10 OS, with 28.81 percent using the 64-bit version and 1.04 percent using the 32-bit version.
The first on the list is still the Windows 7 OS 64-bit with 35.63 percent of users but if this trend continues, Windows 10 should become the top OS as early as next month.
This also shows that Windows 10 OS is becoming the fastest growing OS with the adoption rate that is way better than any other Windows OS so far. The adoption has somewhat slowed down but it is still better than anything we have seen so far.
The introduction of DirectX 12 API games will certainly push more gamers to Windows 10 OS as some are still cautious when it comes to switching from Windows 7 OS.
