While Apple might hold the premium AiO market with its iMac systems, it appears that ASUS wants a piece of its with its new Zen AiO Pro systems, which feature Skylake CPUs, Geforce GPU and beautiful looking aluminum chassis.
Starting at US $999 and going all the way up to US $1,899, the new ASUS Zen AiO Pro will be available in four different models, with different CPU, GPU, screen resolution, RAM and storage options. All four are based on a 23.8-inch IPS screen, with either 1920x1080 Full HD or 3840x2160 4K/UHD panel. The premium 4K/UHD resolution models will also feature a 10-point multitouch.
The cheaper Z240-C1 and Z240-C3 models will pack Intel's Core i5-6400T CPU paired up with Geforce GTX 950M 1GB GPU, 8GB of RAM and 1TB hybrid drive. The cheaper Z240-C4 4K/UHD model will have a Core i7-6700T, still pack 8GB of RAM and 1TB hybrid drive but also come with Geforce GTX 960M 2GB GPU. The top offer is the ASUS Zen AiO Pro Z240-C2 with Core i7-6700T CPU, 16GB of DDR4-2133 memory, same Geforce GTX 960M GPU and 512GB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD and 1TB HDD.
All four models also come with Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.1 Type-C and USB 3.0 ports, card reader, web cam and more.
With aluminum unibody with "Icicle Gold anodizing", it is obvious that ASUS is aiming at Apple's premium AiO market and it might do well with decent prices and much better specifications.
