be quiet!, a well known PSU and case manufacturer from Germany, has announced its latest PC case that will be a part of its Silent Base series, the Silent Base 600.

The new Silent Base 600 is a more compact version of the praised Silent Base 800 PC case and should offer the same excellent cooling performance and low noise but at much smaller dimensions.

With dimension set at 495x230x493mm, the Silent Base 600 is more compact than the Silent Base 800 but still offers support for ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards. It also supports up to 170mm tall CPU coolers, up to 290mm long PSU and up to 294mm long graphics cards (413mm without the upper HDD cage).

The rest of the specifications include three 5.25-inch, three 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch drive bays, in two HDD cages that can be relocated, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and audio jacks at the front-mounted I/O panel, plenty of room for cable management, dust filters and tool-less mounting systems.

When it comes to cooling, the Silent Base 600 comes bundled with two Pure Wings 2 fans, one 140mm at the front and one 120mm at the rear. It also offers room for additional 140mm at the front, two 140/120mm fans at the top and single 140/120mm fan at the bottom. According to be quiet!, the support for liquid cooling radiators include front 120/140, rear 120 and top 120/140/240 radiator.

The Silent Base 600 will be available with and without the double-glazed side window and in three colors, Orange, Black and Silver. The price for all non-windowed models is set at €109.90 / $109.90 / £79 while the windowed version will sell for €124.90 / $119.90 / £94.
