Microsoft has sent out invites for its big media event that will take place on October 6th in New York, where the company is expected to launch couple of new Windows 10 devices, including the Surface Pro 4.
This will probably be the biggest event from Microsoft as the company is expected to announce quite a few devices based or linked to Windows 10 OS.
Earlier rumors already shed some light on the upcoming Surface Pro 4 tablet, which is expected to bne powered by Intel's Skylake CPU and feature the same ultra-thin form factor and large-size display. Recent reports suggest that we might even see two versions of the Surface Pro 4 tablet, a 12-inch and a 14-inch one.
What is pretty much carved in stone, is that Microsoft will also unveil two new Lumia smartphones, the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL, earlier known under Talkman and Cityman codenames.
The Lumia 950 should be based on a 5-inch screen, Snapdragon 808 SoC paired up with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 20MP PureView rear camera. The Lumia 950 XL will pack a larger 5.7-inch screen and a Snapdragon 810 SoC. Both smartphones are expected to support wireless charging, have iris scanner, support for Windows Continuum and more.
Various rumors also suggest that we might also see the new Microsoft Band wearable device, Bluetooth speaker system, HoloLens update and even possibly the new Xbox One mini system.
