Apple has sent out invites to select members of the press for its next major event which will be held in San Francisco on September 9th, where we expect to see the new iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus as well as some other devices.
In addition to the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, which are pretty much confirmed to be unveiled at the new Apple event, other rumors suggest that we could also see a new Apple TV device as well as new iPads, including iPad Pro, iPad Air 3 and iPad mini 4. A big part of the event will probably be reserved for iOS 9 and its new features.
Earlier rumors suggested that iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will feature a new 12-meagpixel camera, A9 SoC, 4K recording and Force Touch.
While it is clear that iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be the biggest stars at the event,
according to the report from 9to5mac.com, cheaper 4-inch iPhone 6C will not be ready for the event. Apparently, Apple has been also testing a smaller 3.5-inch iPhone and it will use the event to discontinue the iPhone 5C, a smartphone that did not do well in the US.
In any case, Apple's big event is scheduled for September 9th and we will certainly keep an eye on it.
