Star Wars Battlefront Fighter Squadron mode revealed

A new 20-player mode for the game

As expected, DICE has unveiled a new game mode for Star Wars Battlefront at Gamescom 2015 show in Germany, the Fighter Squadron mode.

Based on a ship-to-ship combat, the new game mode will include plenty of vehicles to choose from, including A-Wings, X-Wings, TIE Fighters and TIE Interceptors as well as some unique ships like the Millennium Falcon and Boba Fett's Slave I ship, at least as far as we can see from the trailer.

It appears that the Fighter Squadron will be a 20-player mode with computer controlled ships joining in on the battle for key objectives.

Star Wars Battlefront is shaping up to be a rather incredible game and we are sure that we will pick it up on November 17th when the game is scheduled to come for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
