OCZ also unveiled its new XD-JX series M.2 NVMe SSD for enterprise applications at Computex 2015.
Based on standard M.2 form-factor (22x110mm), NVMe 1.1b Gen. 3 x4 PCI-Express interface and be available in 240, 480 and 960GB capacities, the new XD-JX from OCZ Storage Solutions will be using proprietary OCZ JetExpress controller and be based on next-generation Toshiba eMLC NAND. It will have Power Loss Protection (PLP) and 2DWPD (Diskful Writes Per Day) for five years endurance rating.
The current preliminary performance rating is set at 1600MB/s for sequential performance and up to 300,000 IOPS for random 4K performance.
Unfortunately, OCZ was still not ready to talk about the price or the availability date but we will surely keep our eye on it.
