Nvidia was quite keen to announce during weekend that its Geforce 352.84 Windows 10 OS driver is now WHQL-certified.
While it has been rolling out Game Ready drivers with every major game release, Nvidia's Geforce 352.84 Windows 10 OS driver is now WHQL-certified, which mean it passed Microsoft's Windows Hardware Qualification Lab (WHQL) testing.
The new Geforce 352.84 WHQL drivers will offer full compliance with WDDM 2.0 specification and offer support for DirectX 12 on supported GPUs, or as recently revealed, all Kepler and Maxwell architecture GPUs. While there are currently no game that actually support DirectX 12, there are few tech-demos that did show us what to expect from DirectX 12, including Forza DX12, Fable Legends DX12, King of Wushu DX12 and Unreal Engine Race DX12.
Microsoft's Windows 10 OS and DirectX 12 also promise major performance improvements so it is nice to know that Nvidia has the driver ready for the launch.
Available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, Nvidia's new Geforce 352.84 WHQL driver can be found on Nvidia's dedicated driver page via link below.
