EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling manufacturer from Slovenia, has introduced the new water block aimed to be used on server and workstation type motherboard based on one or more Intel LGA 2011(-3) or LGA 115x sockets, the Annihilator 1U CPU water block.

According to EK Water Blocks, the EK-Annihilator as the company decided to name it, is a result of years of experience, round the clock development and rigorous testing. Since enterprise solutions, where such workstation and server motherboards are used, demand performance, reliability, serviceability, it was crucial that EK-Annihilator CPU water block meets those demands with top hydraulic- and thermal performance as well as proven engineering.

The EK-Annihilator is 1U chassis type water block, pre-configured to be used on modern LGA-2011(-3) and LGA 115x socket motherboards with narrow mounting hole pattern.

It also comes with its own mounting plate and features side-mounted fittings and plugs made of nickel-plated brass material, which is crucial for 1U low-profile enclosures. It also comes with 6/9mm (ID/OD) tubing and tube-securing clamps which allows ti to be a complete solution for single or multi water block systems.

The water block uses micro-fin cooling structure and comes with a specially designed and machined copper base.
