Be quiet!, a well known manufacturer of PSUs from Germany, has unveiled its newest Dark Power Pro 11 PSU series which will be available in 850W, 1000W and 1200W versions.
Featuring 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency rating and semi-modular design, the new Dark Power Pro 11 PSU series, according to be quiet!, will offer higher performance as well as produce low noise, thanks to the use of the new SilentWings 3 fan.
The new Dark Power Pro 11 PSU series uses "Full Bridge + LLC + SR + DC/DC" topology and now includes two parallel main transformers which results in lower heat emission and a higher efficiency. The capacity of four output capacitors on 12V-rails has been raised from 2,200 to 3,300 microfarads and the PSU comes with 39 Solid Caps and a new PFC capacitor so it should have a minimum electrical noise even at high load.
The rest of the features include four ports for external fans driven by an additional temperature sensor and dedicated circuit, an ability to be used in single or multi-rail mode with Overclocking Key, rubber case lining for decoupling and semi-modular cable management as well as usual high-quality Japanese capacitors.
As mentioned, the new Dark Power Pro 11 PSU series uses single, bottom placed, SilentWings 3 135mm fan for cooling. With fluid dynamic bearing and six-pole motor, the fan starts spinning at 250 RPM and should make the Dark Power Pro 11 PSU series even more quieter than its predecessors.
The be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 PSU series should be available immediately with a suggested retail price of US $199/£161/€225 for the 850W model, US $239/£186/€259 for the 1000W model and US $279/£207/€289 for the high-end 1200W model.
